Has Sally been reported to Lurcher Search? They have contacts in the working world. http://www.lurcher.org/lsuk Should the found dog also be reported to them? Although if the finder didn't register with DL then the chance that they would register with LS is low.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Greyhound Crazy
The Found lurcher bitch in the Church Crookham area is unfortunately not Sally. The descriptions are very similar, but the lady who found the lurcher or possibly greyhound (not tatooed) in her garden spoke to me (Greyhound Lifeline) the day she found her and looked at Sally's photo. She assures me they are not the same dog. Sally is still missing and we also have a found lurcher/greyhound in the Fleet/Crookham area who needs re-uniting with her owner. The Found lurcher/greyhound bitch unfortunately does not appear to be registered with Doglost and I assume is not chipped either as finder did say to me that she'd get that checked asap.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The .pdf at work has turned up SOMETHING. Handmade poster at TESCO Express seen yesterday lunchtime on the Fleet-Cookham road advertising stray dog found. No details of dog and my colleague didn't get the number on it - he will do so when he is next there. This may not be Sally but its probably worth a follow up.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Did anyone hear any tooting of horns - apparently a tactic used to find out if there is anyone in...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Are we thinking then that Sally has been stolen?! Any vehicles seen in the area around the time of her disappearance?? Is is worth knocking a few doors locally to see if anyone heard/saw any? I'm thinking of Brock situation...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry, haven't been able to do much postering these last couple of weeks, but should have more time by the weekend. But let's hope Sally is home by then. In the meantime, suggest owners liase with Monkey's owner (Geyhound missing from GU4), Brock's owner (Patterdale stolen from same farm as Monkey, Clandon GU4) and Chief and Doughnut's owners (JRT's stolen from secure garden at Oakwood Hill RH5). There could be a connection . . . . ? Good luck in your search. Will join in the postering at weekend. Nik/Keelah/SueW/Paula: maybe the Surrey Ad. could do another story on local stolen dogs in the Guildford/Surrey Hills/Tillingbourne Valley area? PxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Greyhound Crazy
Here's hoping Sally is found safe and well very soon. I have added her details to the missing sighthounds gallery on www.greyhoundlifeline.co.uk. A plea for help to find her (and others too) has also been added to the "news page" as well. Sally went missing not too far from me, so I will get some posters out in the Fleet area soon and spread the word to others to keep a look out.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
