Ensure that you regularly visit the stray dog pounds in your area, go at least once a week. Remember a found dog is only entitled to 7 days waiting and then it can be rehomed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry Molly is still not home. Hubby as eyes peeled coming and going to work, and as asked work mates to do the same. Worrying other labradors have gone missing.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Still no sign of Molly. The ads we ran didn't have the desired result but we did get some well wishers and others advising us as to what had we done so far and what else we could do. A lady did come forward with a labrador that her neighbour had recently got and could no longer look after it but it wasn't Molly. We also got in contact with another lady who lost a lab a few months ago and she is still searching for hers but the one brought to us wasn't hers either. Apparently a few labs have gone missing from her area of Blackpool. This is a bit worrying. Anyway we remain hopeful and everyone keep looking for us.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We are running new ads in the Lost section of our 3 local papers and the Lytham St Annes Express have kindly offered to run another feature for us. It went in this weeks paper. We thank them for their support. We now have another photo and we have created another poster so we will be doing another leaflet and we have decided to target all the local Vets. We now have a ?500 reward for information leading to the safe return of Molly. So any information and help would be appreciated. It would really be the best present to have Molly home for Christmas.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

After a day of trying to find out the exact location of the labrador with the help of the national pet register and the Knutsford Police we have just learnt that the dog has found its owner in the next village to where it was found. Although we are of course very happy for this owner we are sad that it wasn't our Molly but we will continue our search. We will be running another ad. in the local paper in the hope that someone might come forward with some information. Thank you to doglost for their help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Molly has still not been found but we are continuing our search for her. We continue to check with the police and rescue centres. We have had several possible sightings but we have never found Molly when we have responded to the sightings but we check every one out and we hope that everyone is still looking out for her. We are now looking out for Kai as well, as this dog was lost quite near to us. We hope both will be found soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have rescues, council kennels etc been contacted around the fylde area? Even though this is a PR postcode, it isn't far from the fylde area and there will be different wardens, rescues etc, for this area. Willing to do this and leave details with them if not already done.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to the mum of Molly's owner. Molly belongs to her son and they do not have internet access, another relative put Molly on DL She has gone missing from a neighbouring farmer's field late in the evening, bolted when it started to rain heavily. Despite contacting DW, Police, local Rescues and surrounding farms there has been no sighting of Molly. Posters have also been getting displayed. They feel she may have gotten into a car as she loves cars and is so friendly. Also spoken to relative who will ask daughter to send a photo to admin@doglost.co.uk later this evening, any problems a mobile photo can be sent to jazzi@doglost.co.uk. Have asked if they can register and keep us updated. Jan xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
