general story mentioning Jen in Evening Leader last night. poster up in Wrexham agility club. Which area of Ruthin? I do have some friends that way on who might be willing to put a poster in their street. Also, hate to be a doom merchant, but please check with Denbighshire street cleansing dept. They have told me themselves that pets killed on the roads are not scanned for chips or reported to the dog warden. However they are logged on a computer with a general (very vague) description (eg small black dog or big ginger dog) and the area they were found. Not nice, but at least you would know. It has to be ruled out unfortunately, especially this time of year when dogs bolt from explosives disguised as entertainment.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please keep trying Nant Y Corn, North Clwyd, Capricorn, Dog Wardens etc. On the Nant Y Corn website, it says that any dogs found straying in Denbighshire out of hours, will go to Nant Y Corn rather than North Clwyd. Hang on, let me get some info off the Nant Y Corn website.............. "IMPORTANT - STRAY DOGS OUT OF HOURS FOR NORTH WALES can end up at Nant y Corn" I live near Ruthin, and I'll keep my eyes open on my travels. Am going to dog training class in the morning - our trainer always put the DogLost posters up in the hall for all to see - will make sure she has received Jen's poster. Wishing you the very best of luck in finding Jen. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I've printed off Jen's poster. I couldnt go out postering today as I forgot my car was in for its MOT. Will take hers and snipers poster with me tomorrow. Has anybody contacted 'The Free Press'? Its another local paper around here and both Jen and Sniper went missing not very far from each other. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jazzi, i have emailed you the picture of Jen, its not very good, but have also emailed the owner some look alike pictures to see if any are close. Jen disappeared out of her garden at approx 12 midnight on the 28th October, she had gone out to do her business, and the owners thought she had come back into the house, and locked up and went to bed. The yard where the dog was is shared by four properties, but no one uses the back entrance because of Jen, but in the morning the yard gate was wide open, and no sign of Jen. She is a very clingy dog, and the owner is surprised if she has just wandered off. Have checked with NorthClwyd, Capriccorn, and Nantycorn rescue, but nothing, the owner has done all the right things, postered everywhere, police, dogwardens, school children, shops, etc., but no sightings of jen yet. Goldenfrodo perhaps youd put up some posters without photos until we manage to sort something out. Ive asked the owner to contact the three papers that are covering Snipers story, both owners are also going to poster each others dogs, come home soon the pair of you xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
