- It is possible that the vet can give the details to the police, even under the act.
And YAY. PHEW. WELCOME HOME CLEO. Amazing. Hope she is still a happy dog and can settle back in with her family - and hope they can too. I cannot imagine how it must feel. xxx - 2018-09-05 12:39 Gilly
- I would have thought that as the dog had been stolen the rules for data protection are overruled as a crime is involved, and the ppl who brought this stolen dog in to be pts, as their dog, needs reporting to police!

- Owner will be sending a reunited phototoday which I shall put on the blog. The vets was very local but due to data protection act they cannot disclose the new owners details.
Thank god for the vet scanning! - 2018-09-05 07:58 Unknown

Absolutely amazing news this afternoon. After going missing in March 2017 Cleo has been found. Cleo had been taken to a vets to be PTS and vet had her signed over to them. Checked her chip and found that Cleo was missing. Other than poorly eyes Cleo is fine and happy to be back home.
Massive thanks for all the shares. Well done to the vet for scanning!! Welcome home Cleo
Lots of love from all at Dog Tag
