- If Boo has been spooked he is most probably hiding somewhere. When checking outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars make sure he isn`t hiding behind an object within that building. Cats are notorious for keeping very still, and quiet for some time when they have had a scare. Put some tuna in his dish, and call him. Put his blanket (Unwashed) into a clean container; an item with your scent on too. Leave in the garden where dry. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too Walk around the area, and gently call his name. Take a favourite toy with you if he has one or if not his used blanket. Dont try a squeaky toy in this case as it may scare him unless h he owns one, and is used to it Also check behind bushes/hedges in case he is hiding there.
