So pleased to read that Twiggy is safe and home. Hopefully now owner can get some sleep and reverse that aging issue!

Aww lovely Twiggy is home...No more running off madam..xx
Twiggy
Thought you'd like to know Twiggy is home! A lady found her lying curled up in a ball when she walked her dog last night in Erlestoke village and Twiggy let her pick her up and carry her home! It's wonderful. Apart from being thin, muddy, tired and very hungry she is fine! She wagged at both ends for about 5 mins and tried to lick me and then went and stood by the door to go home and hopped in the car as if she had just been for a nice walk!! I have meanwhile aged about 10 years! Ive got a lot of posters to take down today!! So relieved. Thanks to everyone who posted on this site and for your moral support. It was pure chance that she was found at that moment as I think she was finally ready to give in and accept help. I hope that Luna's owners will have good news soon (lost in same area). I called the army on Salisbury Plain on Friday and they said they would look out for Twiggy - might be worth doing if you haven't already. Sheelagh xx

Great news :) Welcome home Twiggy.

Well done to finder.
DogLostReynard
Twiggy was found by a dog walker last night near Erlestoke , she was curled up in a ball and let the Lady pick her up ! 😁
Wonderful , thank you kind Lady.😍
DogLostReynard
Twiggy , I'm not familiar with area so if very rural she may be easy to miss , as dogs can go feral (revert to survival mode - living on their wits - adrenalin - fight or flight ) quite quickly, lying up during the day coming out to feed Dawn & Dusk.
Do you know anyone with a Drone & maybe with heat seeking ability?
Please keep an eye on where first lost though.Last edited: 2017-03-25 08:20:18 by Reynard

www.k9tracker.co.uk, i think k9 search dogs (different from k9tracker) need a recent sighting to be able to track.
OliviaS
K9 dog tracker? There is also a page on facebook called Dog Trapping Team, where people who have helped track dogs have come together with advice, traps etc, maybe worth taking a look https://www.facebook.com/groups/297059070692410/
Twiggy
Thanks for advice. Could organise sweep - just not sure where to start as massive area to cover. Also fear it might scare her further away. Have put posters from Erlestoke to Hilperton in case she is heading home and will continue to do so. Have asked army to like out on Salisbury Plain. Not much in the way of food outlets as is countryside.
DogLostReynard
I spoke with owner via txt and suggested a 'Sweep Search'amongst other things as no Sightings since Monday...You need lots of willing volunteers, & permission to walk private land , it can unfortunatly scare a Dog out of area but as no Sightings it may be an option to consider.
I would suggest mass Postering further a field & also at food outlets (burger vans, takeaways etc) which I hope owner has help to do.Last edited: 2017-03-24 09:29:17 by Reynard
Mad Dog Lady
Would a search party help?
DogLostReynard
No sighting since Monday, she may have moved out of area , perhaps poster further away, dogs can travel some distance if a mind to.
Hope you have help with Postering as sightings are needed
Twiggy
Last sighting of Twiggy was in Coulston on Monday 20th. Have left my car overnight where she disappeared hoping she might come to it but no sign. Both feeding stations have not been touched but will keep doing the same
DogLostReynard
Perhaps you could set up a feeding station which may keep her in a safe area.
She is now I expect afraid of everyone so best to keep to same person (s) doing the feeding , as to gain her trust.
Good luck! x
Twiggy
Twiggy has been spotted 3 times in Coulston village, Wiltshire but is too scared to approach anyone. Last sighting yesterday (Sunday 19th) at 3pm

Twiggy
Thanks for all your help. Twiggy got spooked by something in Erlestoke Woods and then couldn't be caught by the dog walker who was walking. I have postered and there have been a couple of sightings but no contact yet.
