Frankie's owner has asked me to express her upmost thanks to everyone who has helped get Frankie home.
He had been seen running through numerous fields today and was finally caught when he ran into somebody's garden and they closed the gate!

Lindy I have been following this listing of Frankie and have to say thank you to you for being there and helping especially as I believe you were using public transport in your efforts.
Lindy
Just the best news ever, especially as such a hard area to search for a little chap like him.I bet Lorraine has him tucked up in bed, hopefully vet checked and nice and fed and warm.x

I have been in contact with Frankie's owner and she is out searching for him, the area that he has been seen in is OVERY churchyard and he has now moved on and was seen running down a track from the church yard.

got off bus at Burnham Overy Staithe harbour for a couple of hours walking and scanning with binoculars and telling people who were stopping to birdwatch or walk their dogs and some who were reading his poster.
I am afraid couldn't see any sign of him.
I can understand your difficulty,Lorraine,so many clumps of grass are the same colour as him,he is so small.
The only positive thing is that there were masses of people walking in that area, birwatchers, dog walkers and just walkers.
Wish I could have spotted him for you

Frankie's owner has been out searching day and night for Frankie, she has left his blanket and food where the sighting was, she is extremely grateful to everybody that is helping to find her boy x

I read in the paper this morning that a person who lost her dog asked Resource Group Unmanned Aviation Services to find her dog....and they did. If it were me I would go for this. The Company were delighted to help and even more delighted they found the dog!!! Good Luck x

Frankie has been sighted today (22nd of March) near the harbour, sadly when the owner got to the area he had disappeared but plenty of paw prints in this area.
bdurrant
Night vision binoculars or a drone with heat sensitive equipment, poor love
Lindy
I just hope he isn't bogged down in mud or stranded on the marshes, which is why I thought binoculars might be useful,or someone with a boat,if there are tides that come in there.Wish I could do more.
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Thank you Lindy for everything you are doing to help Frankie get home, I know the owner really does appreciate it x

I got the bus over to Burnham Overy Staithe.Took a poster into the Hero pub which they have kindly put up.
I asked lost of people who were out and about but they hadn't heard about him.
I stapled some posters, one at bus stop and a couple more along the road etc as there are no posters along that area.Tried the owners number to ask where exactly he was missing from but no reply, probably at work,so have come home after a long walk round.
The owner might like to put some laminated posters up,as mine were only printed off and on paper so if we have more rain they will go.
Would be useful to know road he went missing from to find on map.I don't drive but am happy to bus over again,if I know the area.
Lindy
Brilliant,I thought of that last night. It is a lot of holiday cottages and sailing folk who maybe can't get broadband.
Poor little man, hope he is found soon, did he go missing the harbour side or other side?

Frankie went missing from home when the gate blew open.
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
The owner has very recently bought Frankie, this advert would be the one advitising him for sale before the new owner bought him.
Lindy
This looks like the French bulldog cross pug who is up for rehoming on Pets4Homes,listed 4 days ago for £450 aged 1 year 9 months.
It is the same two photos as on the poster.
Do hope he hasn't been stolen.
Was he taken from house or lost on a walk.Hope he is found soon.
