Hi cesky, yes Max has been on the radio when he first went missing. Am waiting for an update from his owner to see if he managed to get him into the Echo or not. Keelah have passed your number on to him aswell, just in case he is having trouble. Jan HxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have just spoken to Mark (Max's owner) and he is trying his hardest to get max into the Lincoln Echo, so hopefully once picture and write up is done, more people might be on the alert for Max.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

An email has been sent to Squashynose requesting this info, and there has been no response. Can squashynose please email me a.s.a.p. jazzi@doglost.co.uk. I do have admin access which allows me to see the users real name, I dont want to do this but I could ring RSPCA York and ask them the connection. Will give squashynose another day to respond to the email. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, Have spoken with Max's owner this afternoon. He has seen the photo posted by squashynose and says there is a strong possibility it could be Max. Owner has confirmend that Max has got white markings on cheast and also has one ear that stands up and one that folds over, as in photo. he spoke to 2 different people at the RSPCA in York, one who said they only had a 10 month old lurcher X staffie matching the description, and the contradicted this. By the sound of it the people he spoke to at the RSPCA did not seem to know about the posting of this found dog on doglost. Owner is confused and would obviously like to know more about this dog.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Maybe squashynose could shed some more light on the photo they posted earlier. Where is the dog now? When did the photograph get taken? etc. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi squashy nose...sorry but have only just caught up with the latest on Max. I have phoned the house again, and suggested that they go to the Echo and or try and advertise at other places. Could you either PM me about this other dog or let me know where it is, looks a bit skinny as though it has been out for a while. Does look similar but maybe a bit darker around the muzzle to Max, but need owner to see aswell. Many thanks and hope to hear from you soon, Jan HxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Will try the owners tomorrow again and see if they have started to poster! If they cant then will try and get them to do the radio and paper. All vets need informing aswell and not just their own. I shall do a few tomorrow and email the poster to them aswell. Jan HLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, did Max run off or was he taken from your home? I'm in Skelly so I'll keep my eyes open & spread the word. It might be worth looking on the farmland opposite Hartsholme (behind the football pitches) as the river runs down there and he may have found some shelter in the woods. Ring Ingham rescue kennels everyday and try going up there, dont just leave a message as, from experience, that doesn't seem to work! Also let them know at Lincs FM & Radio Lincs incase anyone rings them to say they have found him. Ring the Echo, the more publicity the better. We found our dogs after story in the Echo. Good luck, keep looking, lets hope he'll be home soon.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have just spoken to Max's owners and they have been out today looking all around Hartsholme park, lake, and spoke to Park Ranger but no sightings of him. They then went to a big bloke of flats and an estate but still no joy. They said they had covered Birchwood aswell. They say they have tried everything, but have suggested local radio and paper, so they said they might try tomorrow. Jan HxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I saw Max today, on Anderby Drive Hartsholme Lincoln at 2pm.I phoned the owners up and they came to show me his picture, it was defo him. Strange because i was just coming back from searching for Emily, the minature poodle who was lost in LN4.I tryed to coax him with some biscuits but he wouldnt come that close and ran off. This is only a couple of miles from where he was lost. Dont give up owners he is out there, and i will keep looking for him x JoLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
