- Just to update, been down to car wash and the polish lads have agreed to pass out posters(The mention of a case of beer swung it I think) Have also started postering new areas around stretford, had a couple of phone calls, one about Lee Crescent again but it was the same dog. Dog walkers I stop have often seen the posters so its good to know that they're read. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thought I'd found her tonight! Got a call from local pet shop with bloke and staffie he found in gorse hill park. Wasn't her but told guy to check out website and report to police. Was a brindle bitch with white spot size of 50p on back of neck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just rang SAM and they're distribution does definitely cover Stretford area, however the man I spoke to said they have their own petline and to give them a call. I tried but the lady wasn't available to speak to so could someone call as I'm now off my lunch and internet access will be cut off shortly - tel no for petline is 0161 902 0483. Also text owner to update Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Possible sighting of Molly this morning on way to work - however traffic was blooming awful due to crash on M60 and was on the other side of the road! Was definitely brindle SBT with white on chest - fairly small in size so may have been pup? With a man with white hair and blue hat on and I think a green coat by Eastway shops/Pelican pub at 9.30am - have not seen this man or this dog previously so a possibility it could be Molly. I think SAM would be a very good idea so I'll follow this up today and let you know the outcome. Rest assured if I see him tomorrow morning I'll be diving off the bus! - SAM does cover Stretford area as well, and as a crossover, try the South Manchester Reporter, as well as MEN and Metro news. Hopefully, something will turn out positive for this sweet dog soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Was going to suggest SAM but no sure if distribution goes as far as Stretford. Which is your local weekly paper? I still think the car wash near Stretford roundabout would be a good place. If you can organise posters and speak to the owner (if he confirms it's ok to distribute there) then I'll come and meet you on Saturday and help pass on to cars? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Emailed in new description and photo of Molly, hopefully on line by tomorrow, went to Manc dogs home on tues but no luck, they still have poster up-thanks Jackie Sams mum. I've been over to Leigh and given them a poster- its a lot quieter than Manc! Picked up new printer cartridges as going to start postering in different areas, lots of ideas and help coming from Jaspbenswood. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Oh and Peggy Henderson's AKA Society for Abandoned Animals do not take in strays from the public. If someone takes a dog to them they tell them to call DW who will in turn take to MDH. However have told them of possible sighting along the canal and asked them to get in touch if they see or hear anything Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Not been in from work long so not been able to go postering tonight. Poster put up in canteen at North Trafford College today. Does anyone know where Molly is likely to have been taken if picked up by DW? Would it be Manchester or Leigh? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Prontaprint charge 15p per A4 colour copy on standard paper ie, as if you were printing from home! I asked if there's a deduction for the more we order ie. 500 rather than 100 and he said no. If you want me to go ahead, let me know and I'll order them tomorrow morning on my way into work and can collect them at lunchtime ready for the weekend. Will be around Sale tonight with posters Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Poster forwarded to Peggy Hendersons (AKA Society for Abandoned Animals), I have emailed Manchester Evening News with a poster to see how much an advert would cost, Manchester Dog Wardens and Sale Water Park. Will try and get to 3 local vets tomorrow with posters, R T Jones, Green Lane, Sale, the PDSA in Old Trafford, Ashfield Road Vets in Sale. May be worth you calling each individual police station and seeing if you can email poster over - Stretford 0161 856 7655 and Sale 0161 856 7865. Got a Prontaprint copying place near work so will see how much they will charge to do a bulk order as I can't keep nicking works paper/printer etc will PM you the price as and when I can tomorrow. I'm going to ask my mum to put poster up in North Trafford College on notice boards as I believe this is close to home?! Tomorrow I'm going out with more posters and will do the pubs in Sale, Tesco, Sainsburys, the lamp posts on the way down the main road as long as I don't run out. I'm going to go to the hand car wash near the roundabout in Stretford and ask if they would pass a poster to each car and then I'm going to do Stretford precinct. Let me know if you can meet up and give me a hand. Vicki xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Try the Society for Abandoned Animals, too. They are by the canal in Stretford: Mosley Acre Farm, Barfoot Bridge, Stretford, M32. 0161 973 3318. I've contacted a friend who works inStretford, and I'll keep a look out in Chorlton. Talk to the narrow boat people on the canal. Go in The Watch House( I think that's the name) pub on the canal in Stretford for the boat people. They might put a poster up, too.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
