In these cases when a cat goes missing they will normally find refuge near where they escaped from, so I would put up posters near where he escaped from. This happened to someone I know, and this is what the vet told her. Indeed he was found in someone`s garden shed not far from the vets where he escaped from. i would also put "Lost" posters through doors near the area he went awol from, Paws x he is home soon. Thanks, I'd just picked him up from the vets as he was neutered today hence why he has the cone on his head. The vets is miles away from home so he's in an area he doesn't know with a cone on his head right by railway lines.

~Good he is neutered, and chipped. check sheds, garages, greenhouses, empty houses, cellars etc in case shut in. Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morniuns is best. Rattle some treats too Put his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltere spot. or hang on the wshing line if dry; used towels too. Empty contents of the vacuum on the garden as hius scent will be there. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates doors too; anything leading up to the house Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. When checking outbuildings make sure he isn`t hiding behind an object within that building. Cats are experts at keeping very still and quiet. Paws xd. Early days yet
