- I met up with Shelagh this afternoon, who had been searching again for some time. My dog and I spent nearly an hour (sometimes crawling) through thick jungly scrub, being scalped by low hanging hawthorn branches and tripped up by brambles, ivy, old mattresses, looking everywhere but no sign of Krug, sadly. Also, though, no ominous smells, no crow/magpie activity so am still hopeful for his prospects. Maybe he got free. The area he was thought to be in is a patch of very dense trees/scrub/undergrowth within the park (which is quite neat and well tended otherwise), it is quite a large area of scrub and once you are in the thick of it, you can quickly get disorientated so it is hard to know which area of it you are searching. Next time, I need to take a compass.

- Hoping to get a chance to go and look in the park myself tomorrow, just in case (have been working all week). Will take my dog.

- Sorry we couldn't find Krug!!! Thanks to all who come to help search/cut down bramble... We were able to search a larger area and a bit more thoroughly in daylight. Sadly no sound or sight of Krug. Posters are up at all exits to park. Thanks to people who did them. I will put bit further out tomorrow

- Thanks for offers of posters, arranged to collect from nicolapicola tomorrow. We do need help to search tomorrow afternoon! We heard what sounding like a dog yelping after checking a drainage pipe with owner. Despite Ron cutting a path way through bramble we were unable to find any animal. The sound was stationary and was not foxes mating etc. Anyway thing is there are sheer drops there and whole area dense bramble. It is directly opposite area he was last seen. If anybody can help that would be great.

- Shelagh I can print some tomorrow, but wouldn't be home until about 7, so bit of a delay. Text me if you want me to and let me know how many.
- 2017-03-28 20:37 nicolapicola
- Shelagh: Just seen this. I can print you black and white copies - how many do you want I'm at work this week but can leave them for you in a bag by my dustbins outside the front door if you and Ron want to pick them up.
