Thank you Patlucky and Seeks - latest on Ed is cage rest and ice packs til the swelling goes down when further examinations can be done - not a break, but possible fracture - Last edited: 2017-04-23 10:11:56 by wensmum

Sorry no more details at the mo, the other dog has ?broken leg, they were trying to deal with it all, and just asked me to get the lad back up as missing. I just had the message below. As and when I have more details, will update
wensmum
Yes, Patlucky, postcode is correct. Last time he was on a narrow boat. This time he was being walked in Himley Plantation, when an accident occurred to the owner's other dog. In attempting to help the other dog, the owner suffered a heavy fall and released the lead and Bambu/Alfie took fright and ran. The postcodes are actually not that far apart, just a nice place to take your dog for a walk........Thank you for posting him and sharing him

BigGSDPatlucky
Bit confused as I always place Lost and Found GSDs on BIGGSD
Is the post code correct please?
Last time the post code was B66

Thank you so much Jayne. I don't think he will respond to Bambu, or as he is now called, Alfie, but he will follow other dogs

Oh nice man so pleased Bambu is safely home
wensmum
He was seen by a gentleman walking his dog in Bromsgrove - Bambu would not allow human approach, but stayed near the other dog; so this kind gentleman led his dog, followed by Bambu, into his paddock, where he was safe and contained, while he contacted our local search team, and Animal House Rescue attended, and Bambu gave himself up. He appears to be fit and healthy, and none the worse for his time wandering. Thank you for all your help

He has moved westwards along the canal; he has been seen in Tipton, not far from the cemetery. Please do not approach, but please report sightings.

Any help postering the area would be wonderfulLast edited: 2017-04-05 07:38:41 by wensmum

He is using feeding stations, and seems to feel fairly safe where he is, which has several quiet areas for him to hide up.

THANKS FOR UPDATE...
wensmum
Definite sightings of Bambu today, feeding station being set up. He is very frightened, but in a fairly secure place not far from where he went missing
wensmum
We are meeting at the pumping station at Smethwick - that is the Galton Valley Canal Museum. The narrowboat is now moored there. Meet at 2.30, there is a car park at the junction of Brasshouse Lane and Great Arthur Street.
wensmum
Search this afternoon Bridge Street/Rolfe Street canal network area. Will post time and place to meet later - any help would be great
wensmum
Owner is postering and walking Bambu's friend in the area to leave scent. Any help with postering would be very much appreciated. Thank you, all, for all your help. We are desperate to get this lad safe home
