- Everytime u go on dogs lost all you see is staffordshire bull terriers found this is so sad there needs be a law to stop the breeding of these fine the people who keep doin this. Your just given these dogs a short life as they wont be wanted and then cannot be re homed. Glad for this dog he s lucky one x

- Another life saved. The rescue centres are full of unwanted dogs.It is so sad.I hope folk will home a rescue rather than a puppy.

- so happy to see this - but so many found dogs on doglost dont have an identity tag or correct microchip details .............. are they all abandoned? or are there still thousands of dog owners who simply dont bother to buy a chip or tag?

- Great news, makes a nice change to read this when it is a Staffie-cross, I always worry that they may be branded as "Type" and get no chance whatsoever. Good luck to this lovely girl :-)

- Do hope so SimonH Maybe the Blue Cross or the Dogs Trust could help?
- 2017-04-02 18:36 Hollieberry
- I hope the vets have contacted the dog warden .
- 2017-04-02 17:55 SimonH
- The dog will be handed over to the dogwarden and will be put into stray dogs kennels - Wales have a relatively low euthanise rate of their strays - nice dog so will likely go to rescue.

- OMG!!! Can they realy put this lovely girl to sleep??
Surely not....
What can we do to stop this???
and I can't help but wonder
'how many other precious pets have been PTS this way after outstaying their 7 days?'.
- 2017-04-02 17:49 Juls
- Why would a vet put her to sleep if she is healthy , should be rehomed if the owner can not be found or a rescue ? What is wrong with these vets saying that
- 2017-04-02 16:52 Doglover
- Have shared to Paw Helping dogs in need in the hope we will find the owner.

- Mary, post didn't state if chipped or not. Hence unknown
- 2017-04-02 13:18 Mary
- If this dog has now been taken to the vets why is microchip shown as unknown, is it unregistered or is this dog not microchipped?
- 2017-04-02 13:00 Robbie55ww
- 7 days is never long enough if the owner is out looking for the dog, it all depends how the communication paths are crossed....are they old, do they have internet?
- 2017-04-02 12:15 Unknown
- Vet told finder this!!
- 2017-04-02 11:24 Jenny2018
