Thank you Lab lover for the info and I have just met Kim in the vets at Holsworthy and got Dazzle back, thanks also to GeoffA and Skywalker99 for their enthusiasm and support and all other helpers at Dog Lost

The found dog has just been reported by Kim as collected by owner - hopefully it is Dazzle but will await confirmation from owner.

My message to the lady who found Dazzle was seen & read, I have passed on the landline & confirmed that Dazzle is microchipped. I also wrote that she is on the Dog Lost system.

I've found the Facebook post.
A lady called ...... found a lemon & white beagle at 10pm last night & was advised by vet to keep her overnight & get her chip checked this morning. She's looking healthy/settled in photos (appeared to be sitting for a treat!). On her facebook page it says she works at ..... so it may be worth calling them to see if they could pass on your contact details.

Have tagged finder on one of the Facebook posts suggesting checking message requests.

If you friend has sent the finder a Facebook PM they may not see it as Facebook filters all messages from people you are not FB friends with...I would ask your friend to put Dazzle's Doglost link as a comment in the post..

Thank you. I have not had any news yet, obviously anxiously waiting but looks like it will get sorted. Not a user of Facebook but my friend has sent on my telephone numbers so fingers crossed!

rrlnichol - have you managed to make contact with finder? I have seen Facebook posts which I am guessing relate to Dazzle ("found in a lane between petrocstowe and sheepwash"), and wondered if there is anything I can do to help progress.

Dazzle has been taken in by someone and am waiting to hear. Message came through from a friend who saw a message on Facebook. Thanks to everyone who have been helping, really appreciated.

Hopefully someone has taken her in overnight & will get her chip scanned this morning, or she'll just trot back home for her breakfast, but if no news in an hour I'll head over to the Shebbear side with some smelly treats to help look in case she's got herself stuck or tangled up somewhere.

Thank you, Dazzle will not be very close as she lives at the big house (we run it) and would have returned. She is extremely friendly and loves her food so only hope some kind person has rescued her and I will hear from someone soon. I think she headed Shebbear way after a deer but would have tired of hunting as keener on emptying binbags!
