Sometimes one is glad to be proved wrong! I am delighted that this is indeed Tyson. Though it appears we have a similar dog still wandering around Dronfield. Hope that one can be reunited as well.

Absolutely brilliant!! Well done Geraldine and all the team! There was a similar dog seen but not caught in Kegworth on 7th Feb (Id 111255) My guess is this dog was Tyson en route from Sheffield to Wellingborough! Wonderful happy ending xx

Massive well done to Geraldine who has worked tirelessly to track the movements of this dog for weeks, he is now caught! Here is Geraldine's update x "Well what can I say!!! Look who we caught tonight!!! We got him!!! massive thanks to Gary (in photo) rang me to tell me that he had him trapped in redwell leisure centre basket ball courts, with the help of someone from the gym they blocked the hole in the fence and kept him there until I could get there, spent a while getting close to him but to cut a long story short, got the lead on and had to walk an hour with him to get him home, he's terrified of everything right now, especially cars, but we done it!! He is now secure and settled in my wet room, with fresh bedding, food and water, looks quite slim and has sore feet and stiff legs, no obvious injuries or anything yet so I'm going to leave him alone and let him sleep till morning, thank you so much Gary you are a true diamond! Thank you also to everyone who's helped and supported in what ever way, we couldn't have achieved this without you all, sleep well people, WE DID IT!!!! Last edited: 2017-04-12 08:17:26

Thank you Georgy Porgy, there are more photos available for the stray on FB group www.facebook.com/groups/1380308718678664/ - I see from his page that Snitch is microchipped & once caught the team will scan the dog, I will make sure they are aware of Snitch x
Georgy Porgy
Also looks similar to Snitch 110861. Not same area but lost since 30 Jan so could have travelled

Although I believe the recent sightings of Tyson are good ones, some of the searchers do not so in fairness I have to say that opinions are divided. Hopefully the Rushden dog will be caught soon, as Ray Dedicoat is now advising.
