The public and emergency services of Gloucestershire have been amazing. Locals have been out searching day and night, supported the family, spread the word etc. Community spirit at it's best.
Hazel must be very fit despite her memory difficulties to have survived the cold nights, maybe she just needs company when walking Bertie in future, the daily exercise is probably the reason for her physical fitness. Sleep well everyone tonight. X

Thanks Mary - we didn't start tracking until 6 last night so we had lots more to do this morning. It was a dog walker that stumbled across them this morning but Tiga did confirm that neither Hazel or Bertie had gone on their usual walk.

Bertie is also being treated.

Bottle Green Drinks company is South Woodchester area which is close by to Minchinhampton Common.
Sarah
This was put on the police post about an hour ago by a member of the public. Obviously still can't be certain same dog but lady said definitely looked like Bertie - "I saw a little dog, who looks the same as Bertie with a red collar, yesterday on A46 on slip road to Bottle Green Company. He looked a happy little dog and had obviously escaped from somewhere. I slowed down and the white car behind me stopped because he ran onto A46. Traffic in opposite direction stopped. I don't know if they managed to catch the dog and I didn't know about this lady and her dog missing from home! I do hope that she and her little dog are found soon and are safe!
