- Hi Lisa! Do you know if there was any further news on this dog? Only a similar dog has been sighted loose in the OX44 area again and not sure if it might still be the same one. One of the sighters says it could be bigger than a whippet... If it is not the same Dog, then could another post be created? There has been mention of hare courses in the area about 10 days ago so it may be a different Dog... Below is what another sighted said on FB.
"I have been in touch with Stadhampton rescue for over a week, they have said if someone catches it they will come out with a mobile chipper, the whippet has been sited in Cuxham, Chalgrove, Ewelme , and I tried to catch it down Valentines Bottom. Other Facebook sites have seen it out around Christmas common way. It must be starving. The poor dog is very nervous" - 2017-04-07 08:40 Lisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central
- We still arent sure if this is the same dog as ID113375, however there are now people in the area working to set up a feeding station & safely catch this dog, if seen please post any sightings on this page or on the thread running on FB group Doglost Oxfordshire which will help the team to track the movements of the dog, PLEASE DO NOT CHASE x
