I haven't had any phone calls about this dog and so I assume that he/she must have found his/her owner. We haven't been to West Wickham since as we tend to go there at the weekend but with the long Easter weekend approaching (plus some extra days off from work), we will make a point of returning to check for any missing posters.

It was so frustrating as we were SO close to catching the Border Collie but another dog walker came along and completely messed things up for us. She then just walked off with her 2 small dogs! I hurried along the track where the dog had gone and walked quite a distance but no further sightings. My husband stayed in the small car parking area with our dogs but the 'stray' dog didn't return. Before we gave up and left for home, we looked up and down the busy and fast (!) A232 but nothing. We also kept a look out for the dog's owner as we drove back through Coney Hall. Hope he or she is caught as the dog appeared friendly although understandably nervous.
