Reunited: Brown, Grey, White, Black Unknown Female

  • Dog ID 113608
  • Status Reunited
  • Registered 09 Apr 2017
  • Name HERA SIGHTED
  • Gender & Breed Female Unknown (Neutered)
  • Age Adult
  • Colour Brown, grey, white, black
  • Marks & Scars She's a Czech Wolf Dog, so looks a lot like a small wolf / alsatian (they don't have either of those options on the drop-down.)
  • Tagged No
  • Microchipped Yes
  • Tattooed Unknown
  • Date Lost 09 Apr 2017
  • Where Lost Parc Erissey, near Redruth in Cornwall. She escaped from our field this morning.
  • Lost In Region South West
  • Lost In Post Area TR16
  • Date Reunited 11 Apr 2017
  • Other Info She has a pink collar. She's as timid as a mouse so won't "come" if a stranger calls her... But she loves bacon / meat so may give in to that as a way of catching her. We've only had her 3 days as her last owners suddenly had to work too much so she's quite nervy still, but has a beautiful nature. No top canines/fangs either as she lost them in an illness she had a few years ago. So she really is harmless!

Hera's previous owner John has come down to Cornwall to help in the search, I rang him & he has just sighted her. I cannot give any further info at moment, as we had to cut the call so he could carry on tracking, but it is possibly still in same area.
Will update when get further info.

There have been sightings in the Portreath area today, & in the last half hour, she was seen in the disused military airfield, but it is a vast area & she is not visible at the moment. Have suggested a BBQ to try to draw her out, as she must be hungry by now.

A search has been made of the area where Hera went missing & where she was spotted nearby, without success. It is thought she will not go into the open, except for food & water, as she is very timid. She also has immune poly-arthritis, which affects her joints & muscles.
