It could be that Alfie climbed into a vehicle. Apparently 60/70% of cats do this. And has been taken in. Many people don`t always think to get the found cat scanned for a microchip. i have come across this myself. A person once found a cat that was obviously lost. and wondered what to do to find the owner. When asked if she had the cat scanned for a microchip, she said "Oh I never thought of that" so you see! Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. Maybe ALL areas too. Paws xd.

Worth looking at found 113713?? I know the gender is listed as female and not chipped but you never know. And the lost and found areas are quite close (especially if he took a ride!)

When checking outbuildings always take a second look, in case hiding within. It can and has happened. Put sonme tuna or chicken in his dish, and call him; night.early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot or hang on the washibng line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too, anything leading up to the garden. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and ratle some dreamies. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy as it may attrct his attention. Do this when it`s quiet Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. Paws xd.

Ps When looking in outbuildings check any ampty houses, and cellars too

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (113620)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!

• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
