Hi Annabel! Thank you for your kind words and good to hear you will help us with other lost dogs. Will await your update to say that you have Fred back before putting the page into reunited. I gather he has been the centre of attention in the kennels and was quite settled there, bless him.

This is Annabel - I have been out looking for Fred and my phone must have been out of signal so I am so sorry that I haven't responded and SO grateful to you all for finding my beloved Fred. Had never heard of this service but will definitely try and help other dog owners as much as I can. I will post again as soon as we are reunited. Thank you all so much...

Update: I have spoken with Dog Wardens who have had been calling Annabel since yesterday but not been able to get through to her after getting her messages in the office. Microchip not registering so poss a failed one as they and the vets checked the whole of his body. However, Fred is safe and in good hands.
I have called the 2nd number (Tim) and asked him to call the Dog Wardens himself so arrangements can be made to get him home.
I will update when I hear that Fred is back with his family.

Sorry to see that Fred has gone missing. I have sent you our Doglost advice emails but am hoping that the Labrador with our Dog Wardens is him. Although if he has a collar with your contact details on I'm wondering why they have not called you (unless it's too faded to read!) They are usually very good about that and scanning for microchips.
Hopefully you will let us know if it is indeed Fred.

PS Yes Jayne, I called 2nd number on here (1st one went to voicemail) and got gentleman said he would call Annabel and let her know. I have given Dog Wardens number 01424 490034 but am still wondering why if microchipped and name on collar they have not made contact already!
