- Another thought. It is coming up to fruiting time on the many Fruit Trees we have in KT3. 100's of these birds fly to the Pear, Cherry, Apple and other fruit trees just within a hundred feet or so of my house in the Groves. I'll get the binoculars out ready, but it may pay you to do the same as George may just be tempted to loiter close to somewhere he remembers.

- I realise this has been a very long time, but only now I'm playing catch-up for my area. Question: Have you informed the Managers at Richmond Park of this lose? We have as you know quite a large Parrot/Parrot type flock in the Park and maybe he is now living with them. They could keep their eyes peeled if the staff know that he is a lost bird. Just a thought

- Thanks for the advice, emailed JohnHayward this morning but no reply, also my dad spoke to him on the phone last week but not sure it's been added to the parrot register. Thanks for adding to the Facebook pg Julie.

- Put his cage near an oopen window where he has easy access too. Put his favourite treats inside the cage. Put his favourite toy/s especially if brightly coloured on the window ledge inside the house If this doesn`t work try this ouitside the window if dry.. Is it possible that you can get hold of a recording of a parrot. Sometimes this can help. Alos you could contact John Hayward who lists LOST, FOUND, and STOLEN birds
His number is 01869 325 699. Mobile: 07802404929. He may also give advice. Claws xd.Last edited: 2017-04-15 11:39:03 - 2017-04-15 11:26 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- Sorry to see that GEORGE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (113858)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
