- Have they identified the brain-dead kicking walker yet, or is he staying out of sight?
- 2017-04-16 20:56 Jaycey
- Welcome home beautiful girl...Enjoy lots of cuddles with your family xx

- So glad she got home and hope she's unharmed. As for the walker, he's obviously a complete scumbag and an idiot. You meet all sorts of animals if you're walking in the countryside. I hope he's recognised and at least warned by the police. (Perhaps they could take one of their GSDs with them.)

- I am so sorry for Margot and her owners and hope she continues to be well. As for the person who kicked her I hope he is pursued and punished. I think it is very complicated for animals to understand who they can trust and who they can't. I'm saying this as someone who lives above a restaurant we own. All our animals are mistrustful of people they don't know. This has happened naturally (for two cats and a dog). Thankfully. I know from 12 years experience in the same place that they are all on the look out and look out for everyone in the household. I have a theory that people and animals are influenced by the land they live on, and if you look at the history of the Cévennes in France you will understand ...

- Relieved to read this and what a clever girl for finding home. As for the walkers....there are better ways of warning a dog off and perhaps as walkers they need to educate themselves as to what they are before they start their next trek. Please don't use violence and never, ever kick any animal in the head....think of the consequences of your actions xx

- Nice to have her back...clever girl finding her way 'home' x
Sadly not all people love and appreciate Dogs as we do ...however now the guy has had time to re-think his actions and realise that the wast majority of British folk think such an act is Barbaric, he will do the right thing and come forward and apologise to Margot and the family , he may even be converted, Yay! x Last edited: 2017-04-16 08:53:25 by Reynard - 2017-04-16 08:06 Kristin
- Margot is a lovely and an adorable girl. She has best parents ever and a little lagotto half sister 5-6 months old. We know her very well ( we have her brother). What happened to her is the last thing any dog should go through. Safe back to her family must be the biggest Easter gift ever - for all of us. :)

- Hi, this is Jeremy. We originally notified Jayne on behalf of our friends Debbie & Martin that Margot was lost. Debbie has been out following up on the sighting and we've been hoping for good news. Sadly I heard from Debbie about 20 minutes ago to say that there was no news. We don't know any more but as far as we are aware, Margot is still not back. Thank you everyone on Doglost for helping. Margot is a sweetie and will be very frightened. Debbie will be heartbroken if she loses her. Let's hope someone spots her again soon. Our telephone number is the second one on the posting here. Please feel free to use it if you can't get through on Debbie's mobile - she's in a poor signal area. Thanks again, Jeremy Wallis

This is for Margot. This is the text that is on facebook; Calstock - Buy, Sell, Swap or Free
This is a post for a lady called Deborah who is staying at a National Trust cottage at Danscombe, Cotehele. Earlier this afternoon her dog Margo pictured, was kicked in the head by the man pictured. The dog ran out of the cottage and because she loves everyone, ran over to the couple who were walking past. This is when poor Margo was kicked in the head. She ran off straight after the attack. She is not familiar with the area and is going to be extremely scared and shaken. She is wearing a tartan collar, is cream with brown markings. She will answer to Margo or Margie. She ran off in Danscombe woods by the National Trust holiday cottages. The police were called and have visited the cottage. If you see Margo please contact Deborah on 07714486843. If you regonise this man please contact Deborah so she can forward any information to the police. Please share this post so hopefully we can find Margo. Thank you. - 2017-04-15 19:41 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
