It's amazing the power of social media to bring. People together. I am so incredibly grateful for all the help and kindness - I haven't taken it for granted

UPDATE - just had a call from a man who sees Treacle almost daily. He has had him in his arms this afternoon - about an hour ago. Down Fearnley Crescent there is a little road - St Stevens Close - he was outside 74. Gave him a cuddle. The man said "your poster says he is black but that isn't quite right when the sun shines on him he is brown" OMG that is him... he described him - said he sees him down the part of old farm road that links to oak ave TW12 every morning at 6:30am...

Potential sighting this morning outside 1 Westbrook Avenue TW12 - 3x elderly ladies tried to get hold of him... he turned his nose up at the sardines they offered.. I am in Putney so cannot go to him :-( but he is (if him) getting closer!!!

nothing to loose by asking...and it might also be worth scattering some hoover bag contents to see if a familiar smell will keep him in one place.

I think the lady at number 3 would let me - he keeps going in her garden and hiding under the tree. She is a pet owner and I know her through meeting her in the park - she did say she would leave food out for him when she sees him. I was out searching at 5am this morning (couldn't get up and out before that) but did all the areas he has been seen) will go late tonight and then very early tomorrow morning and have a good search. It all seems positive - he is getting closer to home (if it is him and I really hope it is).

I just received a call - sighting in Courtlands Ave / The Avenue TW12 (I am at work so unable to get there!) this is the 5th or 6th time seen in Courtlands over the last few days (fingers crossed!!!) x
