- Follow up to my note of yesterday, I have remembered the name of the lady who 'apprehended' my dog on Chudleigh Cricket field. Her name is Emma Sercombe; thank you again Emma!

- As you can see below I was reunited with my dog Jake late last evening in Chudleigh (found and caught by a lady on Chudleigh's cricket field). Other than being a lot thinner and carrying a load of ticks he appears to be in good shape despite his 12 days on the run. Fed him a small amount last night and some more this morning after taking him for a short walk; both meals he ate with great enthusiasm! I must thank all who have helped me over the past couple of weeks especially Christine and Lynne of dogs lost and the lady who finally caught Jake yesterday (I am sorry in all the excitement of yesterday evening I have forgotten her name). Over the past couple of weeks I have been mightily impressed by the help, dedication and the sheer amount of effort put in by Dogs Lost and their helpers. Without their help I doubt whether I would have ever found the dog or at least it would have taken a lot longer (perhaps too long). I shall be making a donation pretty soon to Dogs Lost. Many thanks again to all who have helped make me a pretty happy chap this morning!

- Good there are sightings , hopefully he will be spotted again as will be out looking for food , worth Postering & checking out any Food Outlets in this large area. He is probably following his own scent now when out trekking familiar routes (to Jake) & often will follow large land marks like main Roads.

- Received this with regard to the sighting at 11.30pm last night - ''It was at the top of the road coming from Chudleigh up towards Teignmouth on the crossroads - so past the cemetery in Chudleigh and on the crossroads there''.

- If he was lost on the 14th then 2 days later he was still in the area where he was lost ... he was probably looking for his owners, dogs very often return to where he was last with his family.

- Has Jake been found yet ... this was posted on our local Dawlish page on the 16th April -
