- Brilliant news
Welcome home, Lily. X - 2017-04-24 21:32 Ash
- Hi sorry weet and everyone she is fine she's happy to be home she was terrified when she was first got just wiggled into mum's arms diddnt bark or anything (she's a very barky dog) but she's fine now, mum is taking her to the vets tomorrow to get checked over she stinks a bit although that's to be expected, We know nothing about where she was or anything tho, we noticed something like a weird colour near her bottom on her back went to touch around it it hurt her didn't look bit or anything maybe just tender from something maybe a kick maybe not. But she's doing grand and is just glad to be home very thirsty so prob dehydrated but we r over the moon to have her back and won't be out of our sight again x

- Wee T try joining a Facebook group called Naughty But Nice (for dog owners). Lots of good advice and training ideas for you and your terrier. Force free, of course :) My collie has a few issues too but has improved a lot since I joined. Brenda.

- Oh bdonaghy what have you done to me! I didn't even know that rescue/site existed so I've bookmarked it.
I'd love a second dog but we've our hands full with a terrier with "issues" :-p which we're working through so don't think we'd be a good home for wee Porsha. She's gorgeous though so no doubt she'll get her home soon.
Besides, I'm aware of my grooming limitations so think a bichon - as gorgeous as they are - would be beyond me. Mum has one and she puts some work into keeping the coat in good order. I'm more a towel off and brush the dirt out kinda girl. :-D That's about my limit.
Thanks for that link though - there were a number of dogs on there that would be a good match when the time is right so big thanks for posting. I'll keep an eye on that one. Last edited: 2017-04-24 19:38:48 by Wee T - 2017-04-24 19:21 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer

- It really is a brilliant site and its so lovely for Ash and partner to make a donation. Really really well done to bdonaghy and also Admin who got the ball rolling in sharing.
Ash & her Mum were brilliant too - they did everything right - getting the word out and making sure it was known Lily is chipped and spayed which I think is a major factor when dogs are stolen. Lily is one lucky lady.
Can I be very cheeky and ask for a wee update when she's home? :-or I have a daughter and Mum who are Bichon mad and have been thinking about Lily. My daughter had me raking the roads late Saturday night looking for her - I must looked a right suspicious character, loitering with intent lol! Don't worry if you can't - just enjoy having her back. - Ah sorry Ash - cross posted and didn't see your last post. How awful. Not a problem I'll get posters printed when I get back. If she was taken then I'd go with police and then posters everywhere and share share share online to get her "too hot to handle". I can still help search the area just in case. Crossing all fingers for you!

- Not sure if it has been done already - I'm not on Facebook or terribly familiar with it - but it would be worth sharing with local vets and rescues. Off the top of my head I know Caddy Vet and Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary are very good at sharing lost dog info on their Facebook pages and get a good amount of views and shares. There's also Dogs Trust Ballymena, the dog warden/pound, Crosskeenan, Assisi (although a fair bit away). Sorry this is sketchy and garbled but posting on the run and off the top of my head.

- That is so nice of u wee t. She's been missing since 12pm yest we've done everything we can rang vets rsnf microchipping office she'll flag up as stolen now spoke to our postman sites mum's out with leaflets around our area now mum lives in dunclug gardens.theress a substantial amount of money for her return. Iv a few more photos of her I couldn't get onto the site. If u like that would really help the better chance we can get her back. She was lifted out of the garden and mums other dog was there also were missing her terribly and keep thinking the worst. This is really kind of u thank u
- 2017-04-22 15:06 Wee T
- I'm so sorry to hear about Lily. I'm not from Ballymena but fairly close - only about 15 mins drive. Unfortunately I'm away at the moment but will be back this evening and would love to help. What can I do? I can print posters and distribute - shops, vets, groomers, schools (kids miss nothing!), etc...and I can help search. If I knew what area of Ballymena I can scout round the area when I get back and I'm free tomorrow too (although she may well be back before then!). Sorry I can't do anything now but let me know what I can do and I'll get back to you this evening. Good luck & fingers crossed she's back where she belongs before then.
