Holly was found a little while back and is now home. No further details I'm afraid.

Come home Holly. Hope having police involved makes her too hot to handle and she will be home soon. Stay strong xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We have good reason to believe that Holly is in the South Gloucestershire area! Can't say too much at this stage as the police are involved, but please can eagle eyed DL volunteers look out for Holly and poster like crazy! Fingers crossed you will be home soon Holly xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Holly, we are still searching for you, and won't turn off the heat until you are reunited with your rightfull owners. A Copy of your poster is now in a plastic folder at my local vets surgery on a table for clients to peruse, (TA8 Somerset). People do travel and hopefully anything that we can do to bring you home has to be worh a try. Hang on in there girl, your time with the parasite that stole you is limited.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you! This should make the lovely person who has stolen Holly sit up and realise we are not going to give up on her. Holly and other stolen dogs from the same area were reatured in a 2 page spread in the Bristol Evening Post lastweek.................2 days later Sophie, stolen from Avonmouth from the same street at Holly was returned. Just goes to show what a bit of publicity can do!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Greylady, I've pm'd you. Dog I saw is on P4 and called Maddox. They think she's about 2 years old and colouring might not be quite right but her condition isn't brilliant so worth a second opinion. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to owner. Hopefully some more media interest on its way courtesy of the WDP and GWR radio. Owner is working closely with Bonnie and Sophie's mum and with the police too. Holly stay safe until you are back home, which you will be soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters printed, and will be put up in Somerset, TA8. Riding on the success of Buddy's return, let's turn up the heat on all of our South West dogs that are still missing. Holly, we are looking for you, someone may have seen you and not realised that you are reported as "MISSING". Can all Dog lost helpers who visit this page, please email a copy of Holly's poster, to all of their friends and family where ever they live especially in the Bristol/Glos and Nth Somerset areas. As we all know, missing dogs are not always found in the area in which they were lost/stolen. Thank you. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Lovely Holly. Can't help wondering if we should have STOLEN in red letters on these posters instead of MISSING in these cases. It grabs people's attention, alerts them to this current wave, also helps by riding on the back of Buddy's media attention. Also if people realize they are stolen and not just run off they may take more notice of Lurchers who are with someone but don't look happy rather than just looking out for lurchers on the loose? Will put up posters. xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to owner today. This dog is very likely to be in the S Glos or Bristol area, as the dog stolen with her was recovered there, so please members in this area get postering everywhere you can, so that everyone knows Holly is not with her rightful owner. There is a lot of communication going on with the police the owner and other agencies so we are all confident Holly will be back home soon. Holly is SPAYED and so cannot be used for breeding.
