- As house cats dont usually go too far, you could maybe hire a trap from Cat Protection, and out some treats, and Pokers`s scent inside, and the owner scent too; the person that he trusts. Paws xd.

- Keep searching the area with a squeaky toy, and gently call his name He is maybe shut in an outbuilding. Keep checking.

- Presume a housecat? If so he will probaby be hiding soimewhere close by, and will be feeling anxious, and panicky. Indoor cats always feel more secure when they are in their own home with people they trust Wipe his scent all around the garden such as gates, doors etc. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. The door where he as access to open wide, and stand at the side (Not in the centre) And put some tuna or chicken inside the door; about 10" away from the open door. And rattle some treats. (Try this in daylight of course) If you see him approach, dont try, and grab him or he may "Do a runner" even though you are the owner. Walk around the area when dar, and quiet. and take a squeaky toy with you, as it may attract his attention. Take a torch too as the light will reflect on the cats eyes. Indoor cats only usually go as far as about 1 to 4 houses away. Check all outbuildings, and make sure he isn`t hiding behind an object within any of the buildings. Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. Paws xdLast edited: 2017-05-02 17:08:52
