- I note from the map that there is a picnic area at Wellhill with a small lake (fresh water?) just to the north west.
Could Jura have been attracted by scraps of discarded food at the site? Do visitors have bbqs there?
Maybe set up a bbq there yourself when it is quiet (early morning/late evening) to see if Jura will come out of hiding.
Did you drive to the car park at Cloddymoss to start your walk?
Another suggestion would be to go back there in the car when quiet and sit with the engine running / door open as dogs become "tuned in" to the note of owner's car engine.Last edited: 2017-05-05 22:09:02 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland - 2017-05-05 21:19 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
