So sorry to hear this sad news, here is the update from MK dog squad x I am devastated to tell you all that sky's body was recovered from the train tracks today. A couple of network rail guys found her and had seen one of our posters for her in Ashton and actually drove back to get Amanda's number from it. Understandably Amanda is shattered with grief however she has asked me to convey her heartfelt thanks to each and every person who has helped in our search for dear sky. To each one of you that has been involved in our Facebook campaign, physically helped us search for her and put up posters she is eternally grateful. Run free beautiful girl you are home now. we are holding you in our thoughts and prayers Amanda

Just in case she may have gone back other way wonder if it would be possible to send alerts to NN7 as Hanslope close to Northamptonshire border, only about 3 miles from Hartwell which is Northamptonshire. All very rural. Also think region is more central than south east.

The exact location of the possible sighting was A5 just North of Old Stratford roundabout - there are a lot of crop fields around, if sighted, please contact Sky's owner asap with exact location, travel of direction & time x

Owner has received report of a light coloured spaniel type dog sighted in fields by Stony Stratford roundabout alongside A5, if anyone is able to help look, please contact Sky's owner if any sightings, this is MK11 have requested additional alerts x

Thank you Holmes, Sky's people have organised another drone to go up on Saturday, I believe Sky's mom has already checked this out with farmer, however her email is linked to this page so she will get notification to be able to read your advice too x

Have you spoken to the farmer to see if there are any gaps /runs that Sky would follow or ditches or drains amongst the rape that he might be stuck in? Farmers know their fields so worth asking xx

Have you tried to find someone with a drone to check. May also need an infrared camera. Two year old child lost in a rapeseed field was recently located by a police helicopter with an infrared camera directing officers on the ground.

We are organising a proper search of as many areas as we can in and around Hanslope. We are concerned that as there's not been one sighting that she may be stuck somewhere. This will at least reassure Amanda and us that she isn't... please if you could join us, even for an hour throughout the day we would really appreciate it. I cannot stress how important this is now. Please meet at The globe car park, long street Hanslope at 9.30ish for a 10am head out. Maps will be provided and we give each person full instructions and a designated search area.

Drop posters of at local schools and colleges and offer a reward towards school funds. Poster taxi firms, poo bins, bus stops and leave posters in post boxes for postmen to take back to the sorting office

Sky's people are concerned that she may have travelled a little further afield now if she isn't lost in the rape seed field and are specifically looking to poster in the Hartwell/Salcey Forest area (NN7) please could alerts be sent out in this area x
