- Fantastic news. So happy for owners. Stay close now Winston:-) :-) :-)xxx
Is Winston neutered? If not I would get him "Done" as then he shouldn`t stray as far (Usually) Also neutered cats are lesss likely to cross busy roads seeking a mate. And can become disorientated . and lost Neutered or not someone has obviously
been feeding Winston. Sorry about his leg, but cats, and dogs seem to cope well from what I see. GET WELL WINSTON Look forward to a reunited photo.

- Great news! You're right about those miracles! Maybe he did get into a van or something after all!!! Great that he's back, whatever happened... x

- Found a few streets over from our house! He had been missing since May so no idea where he has been! Unfortunately he had been involved in possibly a car accident or attacked by an animal. Sadly he had a severely injured back leg which had to be amputated but he is expected to make a full recovery.

- A high percentage (80?) of cats go missing because they climb into a delivery van when something is being delivered then the driver returns, closes the door and the cat jumps out at his next port of call which can be just down the road or much further away. I know it's a month or so ago now, but did you or any of your neighbours have anything delivered around that time? Who from? You could contact the delivery company to see if they know the driver's route that day...

- Janie that is really helpful thankyou! We will be trying all of these suggestions, I do think as you say he has wandered to find a female! He will most certainly be neutered once we find him! Thankyou :)

- If un=neutered may have gone seeking a female to mate with. and sometimes they will stay away for a few days. Presume all outbuildin gs checked including empty hosus, and cellars? Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put his uwashed blanket into a clean continer, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on yhe washing liune if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk around the area holding an object with hbis scent on, and rattle some dreamies Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Try this when darkness falls , as the light will reflect a cats eye. Poster in the area, and put flyers through doors too. Paws xd.Last edited: 2017-05-09 13:16:54
