- The original Dog Warden post has been updated as information has been passed to them that this dog is not a X breed but a 100% Pedigreee Liver Spot Dalmation so I have changed the details on the registration

- Nicki B - I added microchip as unknown as details are out of date as per the text added as on registering you need to add a microchip number if you choose Yes for microchipped. I have added the information.

- Such a beautiful looking dog. So is that it? His owner and previous owner don't want him anymore? Why do people get these lovely dogs and then wash their hands of them. I'd love him except I have already got 3 dogs of my own. I'm sure there will be plenty of people that would love this beautiful lad, good luck fella xxx

- regarding microchip it says here unknown........... tragically there are still thousands of lost and found dogs that either have no chip or the owners havent given the microchip company the correct details

- It would probably be helpful to publicise this dog as a liver-spotted dalmatian, not a crossbreed. He looks purebred to those who know the breed. His owners won't be looking for notifications about crossbreeds. His breed should also be on his microchip details.

- Comment copied from a post on Facebook for info - ''This a Liver (brown) spotted Dalmatian 100%. Not a cross. I have a Black and Liver myself both pedigree registered, its common miss understanding. This is all over the Dalmatian group's tonight so hopefully we'll find him his home soon.''
