Cats are very good at hiding away especially when injured. He may also be hiding from the cat that caused his injury. Please add photo ASAP so alerts can be sent & you can then print posters. Really hope he is found very quickly

I assume un-neutered? If so may have gone seeking a female to mate with. Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and call him: rattle some treats too. Check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellatrs in case shut in. Check behind hedges/bushes too, incase in a bit of pain with his injury. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot or hang on the washing lien if dry; used towels too. Empty contents of the vacuum onto the garden, as his scent will be there. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some dreamies. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Also when darkness falls (You are more likely to find him) take a torch to look for him, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. Paws xd.

• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
• If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
• If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
• Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
