Celia, I am so incredibly sorry. My heart goes out to you. That reservoir should have been secure! I know you must be in shock and desperately distressed, but I want you to know, that despite what you think, it would have been very quick. Whilst we have no answers, here on earth, I am certain of one thing, I believe sweet Monty had already earnt his little wings. He will wait for you and watch over you until you are together again - this time never to part. In time, may your heart know peace. God bless you and precious Monty, you gorgeous little boy. Soar high now baby, you are loved and you are safe. xxx

Very sadly Monty's body was discovered this morning. He had fallen into a local reservoir behind tall fencing. I can't thank you all enough for all the help and support you have given us.

Owner, please keep asking Network Rail as they are such a vast organisation they often don't communicate well enough. You need to rule this out. They will say found no dogs, but really they are just reading from reports that are not kept properly. You need to pester. Want to rule it out. Have you stuck posters up along the river walks and all around the station area? Keep going. You have good Dog Warden, Hazebella and some decent helpers are out there. Plaster posters all over! x

A "small brown and tan" dog spotted near Wodson park a couple of hours ago apparently - there is a post on the Spotted In Ware facebook page. Someone has posted Monty's photo below but no response yet as to confirmation that it was him seen, but does seem a possibility??

Yes. Hanbury and all the greens men on the golf course, the landfill, the gravel quarry and we have got posters up in our village etc etc.

Sending advice however the wonderful DW has been helping owner and will happily help out with trapping , but the area is very heavy woodland and no recent sightings of Monty at all. So if we could ask local people to help owners put posters up and get much needed sightings coming in would be greatful. DW is notifying Network Rail as tracks near that area.
