Dog warden has dog, assessment coming up, a number of people have registered their interest in adopting. So looks like things will be ok for this little one. Good result!
Pete
No luck with Manchester dogs home they have given me the number for the area dog warden but could only leave a message. If anyone knows more about This dog please let me know. Thanks

found 21 may now 25 may do we know the outcome for this little dog found tied to a tree?i believe armac vets handed dog over to dog warden and confirmed dog is not blind
Unknown
So pleased she isn`t blind. Paws xd for a good result here
LindaT
Whatever the reason for this little dog to have been tied up to a tree ( by a "human" ) the authorities and vets are obviously on the case from the updates given here ... so if abandoned, or stolen and abandoned, the outcome for this dog will hopefully mean he/she will have a better life from now on with someone who cares about it`s welfare and is also responsible enough to have it chipped and tagged. Glad to know he/she isn`t blind as well, and surely won`t have too long to wait for that cosy sofa. Looking forward to hearing some good news.
NickyB
i am hoping that this has a happy ending - but as the dog had no id tag and was not microchipped and was found tied to a tree ........... i will have to wait and see with fingers crossed

Have notified original finder she isn't blind and owner may have been found
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Kathy the dog warden phoned earlier and owners details passed to her. Paws crossed for an outcome...as owner not answering her phone earlier...as land line they may be at work. Kathy will update us...but to reitterate she is not blind.
NickyB
if only of if only this dog, and every single dog, had a microchip............ cant understand owners who still do not have their pets chipped

This dog could have been stolen and when they realised he/she was blind may have been dumped. May not be the owners who are responsible

I so agree with you NickyB. and LindaT What a low life piece of scum to leave a little blind dog, who ia also so scared; unbelievable. The low life who did this awful act of cruelty should have SCUMBAG stamped on their foreheads. Rant over. Remember Karma

I am certain that this little girl will have the sympathy vote, and be snapped up byh a fostere

Poor dog, what an awful way to be treated, such a shame the vets didn`t contact the Blind Dog Rescue; I hope this little mite will be given a foster home very quickly¬ Scumbag who tied him/her up and abandoned needs to be found, named and shamed ... GGGrrrrrr...!!!

There's an email address there too Nina, on the same page-

For general enquiries
blinddogrescueuk@yahoo.com

For adoption and rehoming enquiries-
bdrukrehoming@yahoo.com

It would be great if they could get this poor dog into an experienced foster home which would be so much less scary for him/her.
I have experience of blind dogs but I am hundreds of miles away.

Have looked at the website but the only contact I can see is twitter or facebook which I don't do.

OMG how frightened this poor blind dog will be in kennels bad enough to be tied to a tree the poor thing should be with a foster home.
NickyB
its with regret to say having just phoned armac vets they have now handed this poor little thing to the dog warden - dog warden number 0161 334 0042 - because this dog had no microchip. how awful for a blind dog to be in kennels (dont know if this is now manchester dogs home or leigh cats and dogs home - i have 5 rescues already - its so difficult not to have 6......... i do hope someone who sees this can come to the rescue
BigGSDPatlucky
I hope they will keep her what an armpit
NickyB
disgusting person who could do this. am contacting armac vets to offer pay for vet care and to find out what will happen to her. like so many kind vets they will probably keep her until they can find a home
