What is important, is that both dogs are safe...glad to see they are...I'm sure the rest will follow if and when known, although I'm not surprised that people ask, it's natural in these cases ❤ to see them home - what a relief ❤ x

Oh Yes our team always do the right thing and involve the police ( 2 forces ) Understand we cannot say more on instruction from police...when we can we will...but any speculation on SM could jeopardise an investigation...That is well needed.

WEll done Wayne, Jan and crew for the hours of work you all put in yesterday to ensure the safe return of these two stolen dogs....I dont think a lot of people realise how much time and calls it takes to work alongside the authorities and owners to reunite...so I understand sometimes mistakes are made...But always corrected...worth it for such a great result!

Meg was taken to a vets in the area she was found Sprite was also in the area..The vets scanned her and there was a query on the chip to contact Doglost,thankfully the vet contacted Doglost.Thank goodness both Meg and Sprite are registered with us along with the chip number or the outcome could have been so different.Thanks to the vets,police and Wayne for all the work yesterday xxx

So pleased they are safe. It isn't safe to keep dogs outside in kennels now. You can't guarantee their safety in the house either so outside makes them an easy target. Hate these thieves with avengance.

NN12 is Plumpton, Northants is & NG12 (Meg) is Nottingham area
... We are all human - we all make errors - I make plenty ha !
I blame the heat of the hot weather - my head is fuzzy today too :)

Sprite has been stolen just over 2 months after she was returned. She was taken from her kennel with another collie in the next pen. We are offering a reward for any information that leads to findiing them. Please help

I have checked the photo and it is a remarkable likeness but Sprite does not have a white splash on her shoulder. Sadly its not her. I hope that she finds her home.

Please check the post in the "I love the lake district" Facebook group. Photo included on post looks very si.ilar. Info as follows. "When we were up middle fell (the Lake district), this sheep dog appeared. We presumed it was one of the shepherds who were rounding sheep up. It wouldn't go despite shewing it away and followed us all the way to Seatallon then we felt we had to take it with us back to Greendale it came with us to Buckbarrow then Joss's Cairn then we went the wrong way and ended up crossing the gill. The dog wouldn't cross and ran back up the fell and it became lost in the bracken If anyone sees it please take it back to Greendale and please let me know as I can't stop worrying about it".
