I am back home now (in Hampshire) but so happy Millie is safe. Such a worry when thunder or fireworks scare a dog. I was pretty sure she was still within a mile of the site, and once I had put her on DL the staff at Verwood Campsite kindly printed some posters. Big thanks to them too for supporting the owners. As the owners had walked the woods with Millie on arrival, I suggested they went out and postered and I would rewalk the woods with my dogs as they go quite deep into the undergrowth and would disturbe/flush out anything hiding. Although we had elecronically done posters, I would like to stress to anyone reading. It was the phsyical poster that made a difference. The golf course had been phoned, but then followed up with a poster. And this is where the sightings came in from. Please never discount the value of physical posters and flyers.
Thanks to Jenny4 for coming to find me at my caravan :) was a very nice surprise, and a successful outcome today.
The owners can now enjoy the rest of their holiday xLast edited: 2017-05-29 22:20:26 by Sammie

Millie has now been found, poster power brought news of sightings. I hope the family have a better night tonight with no more thunder storms. Owners were luck to be camping on the same site as one of our volunteers who was able to support and advice and call in the help of our local co-ordinator, thank you to all who helped.
