I think it's out on 12th September, but someone might want to correct me on that. Any new at all on Cushie? I'm still looking out over Loudwater/Beaconsfield/Flackwell Heath way. Every time I see a border terrier I look to see if it's got a white ring on its tail. Hope you get some good news soon x

The web address is www.time1066.com. Unfortunately, my work have put a block on Radio sites (they obviously think we would spend all day listening!) but as soon as i get home, i will get on to it. Also I know some one who is a Roaming Reporter for BBC Southern Counties Radio. he is lovely and i am sure he will do a feature. BBC Berkshire have been informed and am waiting for a reply. Berkshire College of agriculture have been in touch to say they are plastering all around their land

I believe that Midweek are running an article about Cushie today (Tuesday 27 Nov) and that the Maidenhead Advertiser will be running one on Thursday. I have put up more posters in Bourne End. Thanks to everyone for their kindness and help.

I did an analysis of missing Border Terriers in the South East since Doglost began. The results are: Missing poss stolen (1), Runaway still missing (2), Died RTA (2), Nothing suspicious runaway & found (3), Stolen not recovered (6), Stolen and recovered (15). I hope this gives you lots of hope.......A

this may have already done, But have you tried contacting Time 106.6fm. they are the local radio station and are very "in touch" with the public. They broadcast to the Maidenhead, Slough and reading areas. i am sure they would be more than happy to help. Let me know if you would like me to contact them on your behalf? Also have the local papers been contacted?

And again, thank you everyone so much. You help and support is invaluable and a great source of comfort to all of us. Just wanted to point out the white ring around her tail (see picture) it's a very distinctive marking for a border terrier. We haven't given up hope.

Hope she's home soon. I walk at Burnham Beeches most days and will my eyes open. Also left a poster with one of the volunteers at the Information Centre there and she said she'll check with the wardens and hopefully they'll agree to display it. Also, the new Cafe (which is very busy) took a couple of posters are are putting them up.

The vehicle used was a dark green land rover defender 90. Short wheel base. I don't know what the registration letter was unfortunately. They took her collar off to steal her so she isn't tagged. She was not chipped.

Posters are now up in Flackwell Heath at pet shop, post office, newsagents, Budgens, and video shop. Will go back and do vet and notice board inside fish and chip shop later.

I am so very sorry that this has happened to you, my husband is suffering from cancer too and appreciate the comfort of our dogs. My heart goes out to you and i will hold you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that the culprit feels shame and reunites your cushie with you once again. I know how chemotheraphy has an effect on people with my mother suffering from Bowel and my husband with pancreatic cancer only being 39 yrs of age. My heart is with you and your cushie, so sorry. Thinking of you at this tough time. xx

I should imagine there is CCTV along The Parade and assume that the police would have checked this?? Also, if this man was wearing a yellow reflective jacket he may be a railway worker - Bourne End Station is only 2 minutes away, or he could be working on a local building site/road works.

I'll put up posters for owner in Flackwell Heath - pet shop and any other shops willing to display them, also in Loudwater - Kingsmead playing fields, etc. Would the CCTV from the petrol station across the road from the Co-Op have caught anything? Perhaps customers at the petrol station saw something - so a poster wouldn't go amiss here either.

Hi, I am new to Dog Lost. I have received this poster and have sent it to tack shops in the Henley on thames and Reading area. I have also sent it to one of the local schools where my mum works as a teacher. Kids are great at this sort of thing. Forest house in windsor and Penstone vets in slough both have a copy also. I'm sure she will be home soon!

At about 11am, Cushie, a Border Terrier, was tied outside the Co-op in The Parade when a white man with short, brown hair and wearing dark clothes and a yellow reflective jacket untied her and fled the scene. Cushie?s owner has been suffering from cancer and is appealing for Cushie?s return as she has been a great source of comfort while her owner has undergone chemotherapy. If you were in The Parade on Monday morning and saw the incident, or if you have any information about Cushie?s whereabouts, contact PC John Gibson at High Wycombe police station via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505 or if you don?t want to talk to police or leave your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
