As Frieda is spayed, and a House cat she shouldn`t be too far away. She is probably hidng somewhere nearby. She will be feeling very scared, and panicky. Check all outbuildings in cluding empty houses, and cellars in case shut in. When checking make sure she isn`t hiding behind an object within the building because cats, especially timid ones can keep very quiet, and still in these type of circumstances. They are excellent at it Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. A door where she has access open wide, and stand aside, Not in the middle, and she may feel "Threatened" even though you are the owner. Put some food in her dish, and put it inside the house, say about twice the width of the door. When you see I wouldn`t trry and grab her or she may run of again. Put her unwashed blanket either in the garden or near the door. Indoor cats feel much
more secure when in their comfort zone which is indoors with people they trust; their owners. Put flyers through doors too. When she returns act as though her going awol has been no big deal. She may still be feeling edgy when she returns for a short while
