Original post to Dogs of Tooting Common was at 11:08, so recent. Someone on that group is asking the sighter to look at Leo's Doglost page, to see if they can confirm it was Leo they saw.

Crossposting from Doglost South London. This has been posted on Dogs of Tooting Common FB page: Have just seen a medium sized brown dog run into the woods by the lido. It came across from Spinney triangular side and crossed over Bedford Hill.
Trying to find out timing of sighting. Have rung owner so she is aware.

Sighting from Friday posted to Doglost South London: My husband saw this dog in the area between the Coop and the ABCs Friday at about 3pm it was running across the main road on several passes unaware of the huge amount of traffic. He and others were trying to get him on a leash - the dog was very scared. Also two Eastern Europeans in a car pulled up to say it was their dog but then drove off quickly. The dog had no collar. The dog ran off towards Prentis Road towards Tooting Bec Common. I hope he is found.

I read on Facebook on a local dog page, that a few people tried to catch him Friday afternoon, on Streatham High Road Streatham Hill part of the High Road. They were not able to however if you have not done so yet try Lambeth & Wandsworth dog wardens. Also check with Battersea you can upload details via their website or phone them. They do also check on here but best to log a report. Also try Streatham Hill Vets. They are open tomorrow. Call them Monday too as they have weekend staff who may not have been on duty on Friday
I do hope you find him soon.
