Thanks for update. Glad not a stray but sad at his condition
ClaireC
Please see latest update and happy to turn to blue on account of it!

Hi Claire. Sorry didn't get back til late last night and been at work so only just read message. I have been informed through channels that the dog has gone home and that he has a condition hence his appearance. I've not heard of any other sightings at all so hopefully he is ok. Thanks for all your help and support. X
ClaireC
I have asked on the original sighters fb page to see if she can print off doglost page and take to pub. Still no sightings of this dog. Sometimes so many people go out looking and then dogs move on away from area,I just fear this may have happened here!
Georgy Porgy
Would anyone take a poster to the pub & ask if willing to help? Customers might know something. Also noticed cars in picture, are there any houses there for someone to enquire at, take poster to make people aware.
ClaireC
Georgie, dog wardens I have found differ from area to area.
ClaireC
I have been monitoring the fb page and there have been no sightings whatsoever so far. Pub doesn't seem to want to answer their phone either! I have asked for sightings to be made known either on fb page or to me personally. Nothing has come through. Sorry folks I will continue to monitor as RayD is also in the loop .
Georgy Porgy
Can't believe no one has seen this dog if has been hanging round pub or anywhere really & not been concerned enough to report it given the state it is in. Why is it some dog wardens help catch & others don't? Aren't job descriptions the same ? Maybe it's an ill dog living locally. Really hope it can be helped
NickyB
clairec have u checked that the dog and gun pub are leaving food and water out for him, or dog is finding scraps round the back of the pub anyway
ClaireC
As Inuits do, may now have moved on. Will update if I hear anymore.
ClaireC
No further sightings that I have been made aware of!
ClaireC
Just need some cooperation from the dog to show itself!
NickyB

ClaireC

i will phone leicester animal aid tomorrow 01455 888257 (who will take dog in when caught) to ask if they have a trap.if they havent i willl buy them one. do hope the original person who saw this dog has left big bowl of water and keeps leaving food where it was seen, in the hopes it remains in area, which will make it easier to find/trap.
ClaireC
RayD? Phil Tozer-Martin the nearest I could get get to the breed on our list! I have alerted RayD to see if he can help in anyway. But a regular feeding station would be helpful in these early stages! Is anybody local that can do this please?Last edited: 2017-06-04 21:08:24 by ClaireC
Phil and Tash
It's a NORTHERN INUIT, not Malamute, GSD or Husky or a cross of any of them. Admin please change as it's clearly not a Sibe, trying to trace the owner of missing NI Teddy who was lost on Salisbury Plain in 2012 I think 🤞🏼Last edited: 2017-06-04 20:04:14 by Phil and Tash

Is Ron anywhere near he is a brilliant trapper?
Or anyone who can help
This dog looks like it needs heLp ASAP
BigGSDPatlucky
Admin just in in case someone has lost this dog
Could it be put up as GSD X Husky please
A lot of us think it has GSD in it I for one
May make it less confusing for people looking for their dog
If this dog has been stolen and dumped that is
Pippilotta
Personally I would say he's a husky or malamute x GSD. Hopefully there will be some news soon. Is original sighter going to area again?
Jot cotswolds
Post from original Facebook sighter Amanda Furborough who has been looking for this dog this morning. People on her thread don't believe this is a husky, more likely an Inuit Cross. Cannot see that anyone has set up a good and water station with a poster yet. "Sorry no news to report, getting a bit desperate now for some news!! If any one sees him or manages to catch him you can contact Huncote animal shelter. 01455 888257. They will take him in and see if he is chipped."

Trap in that area a good idea Patlucky
Keep ue posted. Paws xd.
Unknown
I think he looks more like a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog

BigGSDPatlucky
GillyP looks like a cross of both those breeds to me
Anyone in the area with trap?
I know Ron has traps but not near there
Unknown
Breed corrected
