So so sad. Poor beautiful Nala and her family. Why oh why are these shafts not secured with grids, if they cannot be filled. Tragic. xxx

Thanks Mena Viana ...that is just so sad ...here is the text from the facebook page "Today on what would of been Naras 6th birthday we bring the very sad news that Nara has sadly been found deceased. Nara was found by a caver in a historical mine shaft that was hidden out of sight but was open enough for Nara to fall through. Please always be aware if walking in Silton woods or any other woods that there are historical shafts that are hidden and not on maps. I have enclosed a picture of the size of the gap Nara fell down and it was very deep. We do believe she died instantly. Thankyou to the caver who contacted the family to give them closure. Our thoughts today are with Nara and her devestated family Debbie Wild and Rob and children . Fly high Nara xx

Stay positive, I know it's hard. My two were stolen from Hovingham on June 17th 2014. I still search daily and will continue until I get them both home.

This is a fabulous site , so many genuine people that want to help.

Got my fingers crossed for you and of course Nara xx

Have you tried going out to the area at dusk or early morning when she is more likely to hear you? Also, leave an item of clothing /blanket near where she was last seen to try and lure her back. Cooking sausages on a portable BBQ is recommended too. X

Thank you everyone. Looking into suspicious silver 4x4 seen near where she went missing. So many people searching and not one sighting.
