When i got there I sensed he was very close bye possibly hiding in the hedge, taking shelter . He had found a safe haven with Jeni's nan who had shown him compassion and fed him bits of ham and water. Earlier ️she witnessed him pulling plants out of her plant pots and drinking the water from the bottom - very clever dog so I felt immediately he had strong survival instincts i threw some chicken down in the garden and slowly but surely he came out of his cover and started to eat the food. I asked Jens Nan to open the door and try to keep him there as he had a connection with her. At this point both Jo and Tracey were blocking his escape route but we just wanted a quiet containment and distraction. He retreated back into his den. Ann Marie arrived and was given a brief on what to do to gain his trust and how to recapture him using a slip lead . She sat quietly in the garden making gentle noises and threw some sausages towards him and he slowly immersed but not recognising her voice at first then he must have smelt her and went ballistic IT was a very touching tearful moment and lots of high fives and a celebratory drink at a local pub any excuse but a massive thank you to everyone for sharing , for searching , for visiting rescues and pounds and various authorities and for the hours of postering and raising awareness - well done ️xx huge awareness and by many different fb groups and one big lucky break thank you Jeni Murphi and your beautiful nan ️xxx namaste xx

Not been online much but great to get a msg from Sara Lewis Scouse Pets 2 (THANK YOU Sara) that JAKE has been REUNITED.

So pleased for his family they have worked so hard. Their son has got his birthday wish.

Thanks Millypod, owner confirmed the FOUND has been checked out and it had been REUNITED with its owner.

There have been no more sightings of JAKE. Wardens have been emailed more pics of of him.
