Thanks Jeanw. Are you local to Shurdington and if so would it be possible to find out who this girl is? There might be an innocent explanation of course, but it could possibly be Darcy of course. Is there anyone else out there who can pay Shurdington some extra attention please??Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I was a passenger in a car driving in a line of traffic through Shurdington yesterday around mid day and saw a young girl walking a boxer down the main road. At the time I thought it was too dark for Darcy, but having just looked again I see she is a brindle. It could have been a dog and was probably not her but does anyone know of a similar boxer in the villiage?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry this wasn't Darcy. You are right Keelah, Darcy must be somewhere.............boxers are very distinctive and are not your "typical" stray, so eyes peeled for Darcy please! SW volunteers have achieved huge things in the past few months, so lets make things happen for Darcy too and get her home where she belongs. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thanks taome - have passed on to the owner who will be checking site out when he gets home = long shot but the collar description def fits. she had a black collar on with an inbuilt silver name tag on it that was never inscribed. she also had a brass tag hanging off the collar with her name and number on it but it could have been removed. Boxers are proper Houdinis. We once had one that spent his first night in kennels chewing his way out of the kennel owners new temporary kennel. They got to him just in time the next morning. Darcy is absolutely gorgeous and I wish I lived closer so I could help. Boxers love people so I am sure she will show herself soon. Might be worth emailing the breeder you got her from, and asking them to put you in touch with other breeders. The more people you network, the sooner you find her. Good luck xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Darcy was being cared for by her owner's sister at the kennels she owns, hopefully he will be logging on soon. the area into which she ran is very rural and 15 miles from her home, which is just south of Evesham. The kennels are south of Cheltenham so peopel in the area, please get the posters up as she could be passing through!!! Come on Darcy - show yourself!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh my word! This is awlful. The security can't be all that? How devastating for the owners. I use to work in a kennels and it was like alcatraz, (but with scenic views), there was no way they could escape! i am shocked. I hope poor darcy is found soon and that the kennels compensate for stress and failure to provide security. Stay safe girl until your found. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
