Thank you everyone. He was found less than a mile away from where he went missing. He had been living in a field for 5 days but is non the worse for it.

Great news, Ted has been found safe x

Drove through Sedge Fen and back today, scanned fields and paths but no sign. Also did not notice any posters - you need to get them out so if anyone sees him they know he is missing and not just wandering from a local property.
Paw
Could have been the refuse collection lorry that frightened him - our rescue collie is frightened of them and will run away if he hears them.

Info taken from above.

We have walked for miles searching for him and are left with a couple of options: 1) he has kept running via the fields and is lost 2) he has fell into a ditch or 3) the refuse collection lorry arrived at around the same time Ted escaped, I am hoping they have not taken him. On the basis option 1, which would be the best case scenario please can people
