Otterspool animal haven have a shop on Bramhall Lane and their cattery is only in Woodsmoor Worth giving them a call in case someone has enquired there and left Felix with them. Good luck in finding him, Mum and Dad live in Davenport so I'll mention him to them xLast edited: 2017-06-11 23:19:41 by Marbie

Presume all outbuildings checked including empty houses, and cellars etc in case shut in? Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put her unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with something with the ownrs scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Empty contents of the vacuum onto the garden, as her scent will be there. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some dreamies. Someone may be feeding her (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. If someone will be looking for Felix , when it is night fall. take with you a strong torch will reflect a cats eyes. Is there a dominat cat in the area? Because sometimes they will chase a cat out of it`s own territory. However they usually return within a few days... ~I would also (Owner) wear the same deodorant/perfume you use on a day to day basis, as she will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. Paws xd

Gopod ide to check centres etc Dougal, as Felix desm`t seem to be microchipped. Hopefully neutered

Kazzi - have you been in touch with the RSPCA? Sometimes people will look at an old cat and think they are underweight and need help and call RSPCA. Sometimes an inspector will put a poster up locally if they take one, so worth checking all local lamp-posts etc, but they don't always. It's not always local branch that pick up as phone calls are dealt with centrally... worth a call to them on 0300 1234 999 to see if they've been contacted.

Also worth checking with the Manchester Animal Hospital as cats from all over the north west sometimes end up being taken there:

https://www.rspca.org.uk/local/greater-manchester-animal-hospital/aboutus/contactus

It's not unusual for elderly cats to become disoriented and although they often don't go far and are found quite close to home. Putting some of the contents of his litter tray outside if he has one may help him find his way home.

I hope it helps and Felix is home safe very soon. x

We unfortunately only have one picture of him:(
