Portia is on her way home 😀 She was found very late last night by a lovely lady who had managed to catch her but was unable to keep her so had left her in the safe hands of her mum who has today put her appeal to locate her owner onto facebook.
Welcome home Portia! Please don't forget to treat her to a chip and a new tag x

I have telephoned Portia's owner who tell me that she managed to chew through her lead when tied up outside the Co-Op in Wimborne around 9pm last night. There were later sightings and it was believed that someone was going to take her to Emergency Vet Care in Poole but is unclear whether this has happened. Her owner will be calling them tonight as they are not open until 7pm, however the dayrime vets have no knowledge of her. The warden is aware but has not had news of her yet.
I have advised to ask the Co-Op if they can check CCTV and also to get plenty of posters out in the area as they may bring some news. If no news with Emergency Vet Care then her owner will be emailing a photo through
She is a tri coloured wire haired terrier , mostly black with some brown and a white chest and would have been wearing a red collar but no tag. Last edited: 2017-06-16 19:23:02 by Gnasher - Area Co-ordinator, East Dorset
