Couple of years ago before I did Facebook, I only ever followed Doglost. There was a Staffie called Troy that was being looked after by friend of owner...Troy got out and was nowhere to be seen...through posting on this site I suggested the owner contact the local paper as it was a heartfelt story as Troy was the last memory she had of her Dad as it used to be his dog and he had died....Anyway Paper ran a story Troy had been missing for two weeks by now.....then a lady phoned the paper and told them that her neighbour had Troy......this lady,s neighbour had found Troy and not reported him as he should have done......hence Troy was finally reunited....So may I suggest you contact your local paper...make the story heartbwrenching as that is what the public like.....as we all known that not everyone does Facebook or doglost but local people will see a photo of Wiley and hopefully will be able to say who has him xxxx

Please flood that area with posters. Somebody saw where man went with him! Put posters at traffic lights and road junctions. Is there a local cab office? If so go and ask in there. Dog had no lead so he either lives local or had a vehicle/cab. Posters should go at all open spaces, and outside schools too.

Keep those posters out and keep searching around area he was last seen xxx

Info from owner: Wiley got on a bus,as he is used to doing and got off at Northumberland park, which is last stop for that route. It was the last bus of night. He was seen next day around 1pm running around lost. A concerned man picked him up saying he would take him to pdsa. Sadly Wiley is not there and owners have not been notified by any vets that he is handed in! Posters are out in both locations now.
