- It appears that Buddy has been taken to a 'secret' location.Do not know what will happen with him as it seems there is some dispute as to the legal ownership/guardianship.

- Hope this poor dog is ok , well done to people finding him , hope he is safe and settling , can,t believe this owner gone away and not worried sick to enjoy a holiday ?

- It appears tonight the "rescue" who placed this dog in a an unsecured home, way too early for its problems, with someone who was going on holiday 18days later.. are waiting until the adopter returns from holiday before disclosing where they are holding this dog. The good folk who went all out to secure this poor dog are not being allowed to know where he is. Absolutely appalling situation for this dog. No overseas rescues should be at the mercy of people like this. So upsetting for all those who worked hard to get him safe. An example of everything that is wrong with Rommie rescues in many cases. Regulation of people handling these dogs and bringing them to the UK is badly needed quickly.

- Will Buddy go back to the rescue or will he go back to the person who adopted him ?

- so glad buddy found - but this is yet another story of a rescued feral street dog absolutely terrified of the human race. adopter left him after 3 wks to go on holiday............ adopters have absolutely no idea what they are letting themselves in for - so its really up to the rescue organisations to be far more aware of the problem they can create. our romanian rescue adopter completely ignored all the advice given, that she was a high risk for running off, so thanks to them she was lost on day 2 in her new home.........found three weeks later

- There is quite a story here...no idea what "rescue organisation" was involved but this dog had only been with its adopter for 3wks..she flew on holiday to Mexico 24hrs after he went missing. He does not know the area as had been to terrified to even be touched, so had no collar on and had not been walked. Went missing from her garden. There is a lot on facebook...dog is terrified and may bite. It needs trapping as won't go to humans. Went missing 0930 21st Jun. There is a rail track behind the house. Adopter had left it with someone while she went on holiday. Apparently 2 sightings today 4am and 9am ..one by a roundabout where the A19 meets the A1 at Seaton Burn..Arcot Hall area. Dog had gone missing from Nelson village (nr cramlington) or elsewhere. See facebook page Help Find Buddy. The dog looks completely "closed down" in its photo. ..huddled in a corner. Should never have gone to an adopter in that state and not one about to go on holiday. Last edited: 2017-06-23 17:45:13 by Jot cotswolds
