dreena52 what a lovely post to see although it is awful that Mandy has lost her puppies if she is so small it is probably for the best from her own health point of view. I wish you all a lot of happiness as it sounds as if she was meant to be with you all xx

Update on Mandy as she is now known. Kathryn and I spent a week tracking her at night and finally caught her in a cat trap. She was with me a day and a half before the warden picked her up, and my husband an I fell in love with her. She was 5 weeks pregnant and 2 days later aborted 8 pups, she has an eye ulcer which is responding well to treatment. The warden kindly said we could rehome her, and we collected her this morning. She was shaking so much her teeth were chattering, as soon as she sat on my lap with the blanket she had at mine she wagged her tail and licked me. As soon as we got indoors there was a huge greeting from my others and she just ran around like a lunatic jumping from seat to seat. She gets worried when one of us is not there, but has settled better than I dare hope.

CAUGHT. After a long aftrnoon, she went into the trap only a short while of setting it. So very sweet, had food and a drink, now fast asleep on the husbands lap. Got a watery eye and quite thin.

Was sighted tonight at 10.20 in the usual place. A trap and food plus camera have been left out, we will check at 3am to see if anything in it, fingers crossed . It's a bit spooky there at night,

There are 2 of us searching for the other one, it is a very small dark chihuahua and is very scared, it has been seen about 11 pm, we are leaving food out at night, tomorrow night I will leave my night camera to make sure it is the dog coming, if so we will find a trap and give it a go. We are very worried as it is so small and timid and thunder is forecast.
